Timeline
The Explo 01 is officially operational since December 5th, 2007.
Planning started in late August / early September, project funding was secured in mid-october, immediatly triggering one and a half months of intense construction. Though betatesting and troubleshooting was done, conditions at ground control at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts Kiel, Germany delayed the initial goal of going operational by November 29th, resheduling the launch to December 5th, 1700h.
The Future
On December 18th, 1400h CET the artist's mission to Bergen will end by boarding the ferry, leaving Norway. The Explo 01 will be abandoned on location close by, fully operational. Depending on local conditions, it might continue broadcasting, or be lost forever.
